Two corporations have proposed developing wind farms in Goodhue County. Goodhue Wind LLC (an affiliate of National Wind LLC) wants to build 40 turbines, generating 78 megawatts, to be operational in two years.
Geronimo Wind LLC has also proposed a 50 megawatt project with 20 to 30 turbines to begin construction in late 2010 or 2011. Story from Rochester Post Bulletin, 11/6/08.
